Kutir opened in late 2018, and was the first solo venture from Chef Rohit Ghai, who had in previous roles become the first Indian Chef to be awarded a Michelin star in under one year.
Kutir is a restaurant born from a love affair with Indian wildlife lodges and great feasts that took place there. To dine at Kutir is to indulge and to experience a very special part and time of India – one of rich banquets and convivial celebrations.

Rohit Ghai and Abhishake Sangwan have led some of this country’s most decorated establishments – earning a Michelin star in the process.
Kutir is their first solo project. It takes inspiration from the stories of India’s wildlife and countryside, drawing influence from their early careers working in luxury properties nestled away in India’s forestry.
Kutir promises a place of escapism and discovery – and everyone is welcome to come and explore it.

Regional and seasonal, Kutir’s menu is a celebratory feast of Indian history, but presented with modern-day elegance in mind.
With an emphasis on game and seafood, we offer a range of Expedition tasting menus as well as a full à la carte menu, set lunch and a large range of vegetarian and vegan options too.
Our food is accompanied by a carefully curated wine list and a cocktail menu infused with Indian spices and herbs to perfectly compliment the rich and aromatic food.
