On the 22nd of July, Kutir Chelsea is set to host an extraordinary culinary event that promises to be a feast for the senses: the Signature Expedition in collaboration with Ian Macleod Distillers. This special evening will blend the rich, intricate flavours of Indian cuisine with the refined complexities of some of Scotland’s finest whiskies, creating a pairing experience that is both innovative and unforgettable.

The menu for the evening has been meticulously crafted to showcase the versatility of both the food and the spirits. Starting with the ‘Quail – Koliwada’, featuring salty fingers and curry leaf paired with Glengoyne 10yo, each course is designed to complement the unique characteristics of the accompanying whisky. For instance, the ‘Chicken – Tandoori’ will be served with charred breast and pate alongside Tamdhu 15yo, a Speyside Single Malt that enhances the smoky flavours of the tandoori. The journey continues through delicately seasoned ‘Lamb – Black Cumin’ with a bold Smokehead Unfiltered from Islay, and a ‘Duck – Madras’ that marries the richness of dark chocolate with the robust Tamdhu Distinction III.
